The work arrived! An online photograph cannot adequately capture the scale of the piece which is 35" x 35" or its beautiful lines and textures. There are 6 works in this series, and we can only imagine that each is a beautiful and compelling as this one.

    River

River is the Purchase Award winner for the Contemporary Landscape call. The painting is stunning in person. The sense of leaves and debris floating on the river cannot be conveyed by a digital file. The artist's attention to detail and sensitivity to nature shines through the work.

  5. Does your work deal with the idea of a boundary or boundaries? We are looking for work that emphasizes different visual, psychological, geographical and other aspects of boundaries. This is our first themed call to artists and we are excited to see your work. Learn more about our current call to artists: https://www.collexart.com/calls/space-and-boundary
  6. Artists who would like to exhibit with us can submit their work for consideration by clicking on Submit in the main menu and entering one of our calls for entry. For the launch of CollexArt, we did not hold a call for entry and instead invited artists with whom we have worked for many years. These artists know us through FolioLink, another online service for artists that we operate. Most of these artists have worked with us for more than nine years. We have a deep respect for their work and value their knowledge, feedback, and willingness to embark with us on a new project. As we look to welcoming new artists into CollexArt, we are interested in learning about your approach, your motivation, and what drives you to create.
